Employee Spotlight: Rodney Mason

Rodney began working with us in June 2006 as the Facility Maintenance Technician. His main responsibilities are grounds, equipment and building maintenance. Eventually he will add meter reading to his tasks along with other water related projects. After working for SWC for only three weeks he said he had never worked with more friendly people and is really enjoying his new job and the pleasant atmosphere.

Before coming to Spanaway Water Company, Rodney worked at Ft. Lewis in the Receiving Dept where he continues to work on weekends. His prior experience includes 8 years of military service as a construction engineer followed by an additional 13 years of experience in the construction industry. We are certain that his background and experience will benefit our professional staff as we strive to supply exceptional service to our customers.

Rodney has been married for 18 years and spends his off duty hours playing with his two younger boys, ages 5 & 7. He also has an older son and daughter. Besides family activities and commitments he enjoys lifting weights and sports.
